The experience was marred by poor maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the hotel. Carpets were stained, and the pool was not cleaned in time for use, causing disappointment on the last day. we had noisy neighbors that disrupted our nights, and there seemed to be a lack of adequate security measures—guests were allowed to gather loudly in hallways without any intervention. These factors contributed to an overall feeling that the hotel needs significant upgrades and better management of its facilities.

The location along the river is absolutely stunning. I loved the beautiful views from my room and the relaxing pool area. The breakfast was decent, providing good value for the cost. Staff members, especially Anna at check-in, were welcoming and helpful. our dining experience during the buffet was disappointing due to limited food variety and unclear labeling. The buffet felt uninviting, lacking options for those who don't eat chicken or beef. the room's old furniture and appliances need an update. There was also a persistent issue with insects in our room, which made things a bit uncomfortable. there are wonderful aspects like the views and friendly service, but the hotel definitely needs to elevate its dining and accommodation standards to truly impress.

Unexpected kindness amidst challenges

The warm reception from the staff made us feel at home, particularly Sibusiso, who was incredibly helpful when we faced room issues. The views over the river were simply stunning.

Unfortunately, our initial experience was tainted by dirty rooms, and our complaints took time to address. The restaurant's buffet dinner lacked variety, leaving much to be desired.

The old furniture needs an upgrade, but the room was comfortable enough.

the decor really would ve been charming, if only it wasn't overshadowed by the non-existent cleanliness. spider webs in the windows? absolutely disguisting. i’m used to having a room upgrade as a guest, yet here i was, treated like everyone else. one can’t even enjoy the dining with rotten tomatoes. so sad.

Our stay was lovely with a spacious standard twin room and delicious breakfast that was always filling. the restaurant service was painfully slow.

Perfect family getaway

We had such a chill time! The staff were super friendly, especially Abuti in the restaurant who made sure everything was just right for us. The breakfast ladies served with big smiles, too. The room was comfi but could def use a bit of an upgrade. the bar area had a limited drink choice. Still, it was a sweet break!

Had an incredible group trip with friends! The location was perfect for outdoor fun, and the staff really made us feel at home during our stay. We enjoyed a lovely dinner cruise and a tasteful breakfast cruise that were unforgettable. Definitely check out the golf for a memorable experience. it’s a gem for golfers. The facility is charming with friendly service!

Oh dear, the waiters were a bit like tortoises without their shells—slow and a bit lost! had to ask for towels daily. I thought I was in some bizarre towel heist situation!
